Common Questions
- What if I have never been sailing before?
- Most of our guests are first time sailors and our professional crew will take care of all the sailing tasks. You are welcome to give them a hand and learn a few sailing skills or you can just sit back and relax.
- Who else will be on the boat with me?
- We cater for an extremely diverse range of guests, from the elite to the young and adventurous. We find that people who choose similar types of vessels have similar tastes and requirements.
- What do we do during the cruise?
- Just about anything! With no set itinerary, we visit the best locations based on the guests’ interests, tide and weather conditions.
- Do I need my own snorkelling equipment?
- We have all the snorkelling equipment on board. If you do have your own gear, please feel free to bring it along. If you require a prescription mask you will need to arrange this prior to your departure.
- Is there any drinking water on the boat?
- Yes, or if you prefer you can purchase bottled water on board.
- Meals/Allergies
- We have a great menu for you, however we do need to be informed at check-in if you have special dietary requirements. If you have any medical conditions/food allergies please advise at booking and again at Check-in.
- Can I have my own cabin?
- Yes you can have your own cabin, just look for one of our vessels with this option, some with their own private facilities.
- Do I need a sleeping bag?
- No, fresh linen is provided on all Tall Ship Adventures cruises together with bathroom towels. Please don’t bring your sleeping bag onboard as use of them is banned.
